Managing container sizes in CommerceJet ensures your purchase orders use the correct shipping containers. Follow these steps to add, edit, and manage container sizes for accurate and efficient logistics.
Step 1: Navigate to Settings
From the CommerceJet Dashboard, locate the Settings tab in the side menu. Click on it, and from the drop-down list, select Container Sizes. This will take you to the list of standard shipping container sizes used in your purchase orders.
Step 2: Add a New Container Size
To add a new container size, click the Add New button, which is typically located at the top of the container sizes list. This will open a form where you can input details about the new container size.
Step 3: Provide the Container Size Description
In the form, enter a clear and descriptive name for the new container size. This ensures that it is easily identifiable and understood by your team. Once you’ve entered the required details, click Submit to save the new container size.
Step 4: Edit an Existing Container Size
To modify an existing container size, locate the size you want to change in the list, then click the Edit button next to it. Make the necessary updates in the form and click Submit to save the changes.
Step 5: Delete a Container Size
To remove a container size that is no longer needed, click the Delete button next to the container size in the list. This will permanently remove it from your container sizes.
Pro Tip: Use specific and consistent container size descriptions to make it easier for your team to select the correct size for each purchase order.
