How to Complete a Transfer

After picking and moving items in your warehouse, the next step is to complete the transfer in CommerceJet. This ensures that items are ready for shipment. In this article, we’ll guide you through the process of completing a transfer.


Step 1: Access the Transfers Section

To begin completing a transfer, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Inventory tab:
    On your CommerceJet dashboard, click the “Inventory” tab.

  2. Select Transfers:
    From the drop-down menu, choose “Transfers” to access all transfers created from picklists.


Step 2: View Transfer Status

In the Transfers section, you’ll see the status of each transfer, such as:

  • In Progress: Transfers that are still being worked on.
  • Completed: Transfers that have been finished and are ready for the next step.

Step 3: Review and Complete the Transfer

Once the items have been picked and moved to the packing station:

  1. Click View:
    Select the “View” button next to the transfer you want to complete.

  2. Click Complete:
    Once reviewed, click “Complete” to finalize the transfer.


Step 4: Confirm Completion

After clicking "Complete," the system will update the transfer status to "Completed," confirming that the items have successfully moved from storage to the packing station and are ready for shipment.


Pro Tip: Use clear, consistent naming conventions for your transfers (e.g., include the date or order number) to make tracking easier.
