Mapping products from your trading partners in CommerceJet ensures accurate synchronization of product data, allowing for smooth order processing. Follow this guide to complete the product mapping process.
Step 1: Access Trading Partner Details
From the CommerceJet Dashboard, click on Trading Partner in the side menu. Search for the trading partner you want to update and click View to access its details.
Step 2: Check Order Readiness
In the General Info section, you will notice the setting labeled Can Receive Orders is marked as No. This setting is automatically set to No until product mapping is complete.
Step 3: Download Products from Trading Partner
In the Integration Details section, click on Download Products from Remote. A pop-up will appear reminding you that SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) are required for accurate product tracking and smooth order processing. Tick the box to confirm your understanding, then click Continue.
Step 4: Wait for Product Import
Once you click Continue, the product import will begin. A message will appear indicating that the import is in progress. Refresh the page after a few moments to see the update. You will receive a notification once the products are imported. This notification will show how many products were downloaded and how many are not yet mapped to CommerceJet products.
Step 5: Begin Product Mapping
Click on the link in the notification to start mapping your products. During the mapping process, you will have different options depending on whether the product already exists in CommerceJet.
- Link Imported Product Variant to Existing Product Variant: This option allows you to map the imported product to an existing product variant in CommerceJet.
- Create New Variant on Existing Product: Use this option to add a new variant to an existing product in CommerceJet.
- Create New Product: If the product doesn’t exist in CommerceJet, select this option to automatically create a new product using the details from the trading partner.
Step 6: Finalize Product Mapping
Once all products are mapped, review the details to ensure everything is correct. After completing the mapping process, your trading partner products are ready for use in order management within CommerceJet.
