Managing ports in CommerceJet allows you to customize the global shipping ports relevant to your business. Follow this step-by-step guide to create and manage your port list.
Step 1: Navigate to Port Settings
From the CommerceJet Dashboard, click on Settings in the side menu. In the Settings section, select Ports to access the list of global ports.
Step 2: View the Port List
The Ports List displays a set of default shipping ports from around the world. You can view, add, or manage ports as per your shipping and business needs.
Step 3: Add a New Port
To add a new port, click on the Add New button at the top of the Ports List. A form will appear, prompting you to enter the following details:
- Port Name: Enter the full name of the port to avoid confusion.
- Port Type: Select the appropriate port type from the available options.
Once the form is complete, click Submit to add the new port to your list. The port will now be available for selection in your shipping and logistics processes.
Step 4: Manage Existing Ports
If you need to modify an existing port, click on the port’s entry to edit its details. You can update the name or port type if necessary. To remove outdated or irrelevant ports, simply use the Delete option.
