Managing size units in CommerceJet allows you to accurately define units of measurement for both products and warehouses. Follow these steps to create, edit, and manage size units efficiently.
Step 1: Navigate to Size Units
From the CommerceJet Dashboard, locate and click on Settings in the side menu. From the drop-down list, select Size Units. This will take you to the list of existing size units used for products and warehouses.
Step 2: Add a New Size Unit
To add a new size unit, click the Add New button at the top of the size units list. A form will appear where you can enter the details for the new size unit.
Step 3: Provide Size Unit Details
In the form, choose whether the unit will be used for a Product or a Warehouse. Enter the full name of the size unit, such as Kilogram, and provide its abbreviation, such as kg. Once you’ve entered the details, click Submit to save the new size unit.
Step 4: Edit or Delete an Existing Size Unit
To edit an existing size unit, locate it in the list and click the Edit button next to it. Make any necessary updates to the name or abbreviation, and then click Update to save the changes. To delete a size unit, click the Delete button next to the size unit you wish to remove.
Step 5: Choose the Correct Type
Ensure that you choose the correct type—whether it is for a product or a warehouse—when adding or editing size units. This prevents confusion when applying the size unit to products or warehouse operations.
Pro Tip: Use consistent and descriptive names for size units to ensure clarity across your product and warehouse management processes.
Success!
