Step 1: Access Trading Partner Types
From the CommerceJet Dashboard, navigate to the side menu and click on Settings. Then, select Trading Partner Types from the list of available options.
This will display the default list of trading partner types available in CommerceJet, which represent different classes used in sales orders. You can customize this list by adding, editing, or deleting entries.
Step 2: Add a New Trading Partner Type
To add a new trading partner type, click on the Add New button at the top of the page. This will open a form where you can define the details of the new trading partner type.
- Type in the Name of the trading partner type.
- Make sure the name clearly defines the type for easy reference in future sales orders.
Once you’ve entered the name, click Submit to add the new trading partner type to the list. This new classification will now be available for use in your sales process.
Step 3: Manage Existing Trading Partner Types
You can also manage existing trading partner types by editing or deleting them:
- Edit: To update a trading partner type's name or description, click the Edit button next to the type.
- Delete: Remove trading partner types that are no longer relevant to your sales operations by clicking the Delete button.
